Christ Church was established in 1969 by Rev. W.R. Lowe and his wife Norma with 21 attendees in the first service. In its first five years the fellowship experienced steady growth and relocated two times to larger facilities.

In 1987 Tom Lowe was called by the church to serve with his father as Co-Pastor. As the church continued its pattern of growth, plans were made in 1994 for the construction of a new worship facility. Pastoral and support staff have been gradually added to include a full-time Administrative Pastor, Worship Pastor, Student Pastor, Children's Pastor, Media Pastor and other support personnel. That worship facility saw Christ Church grow to a weekly attendance of over 700, and on Easter 2010, the church celebrated the recently completed 43,000 square feet campus expansion including a brand new, state of the art worship center.
